College??!!

A new world overall.

College jaane ka alag hi excitement hota hai, nahi? Alag hi fun, excitement, compromises, sacrifices, dosti, yaari and whatnot!! Different environment, new people, new friends, alag mindset, all over a different experience. Everything is new!!

Mujhe bhi tha yeh excitement college jaane ka. Socha naye log milege, naya experience hoga, saba badiya hoga. But at the end sab badiya toh nahi ho sakta na. Haa mujhe bohot acche acche log mile, experience bhi kaafi naya tha, dost bhi kaafi bane. But i forgot one thing ki jaisa tumne hamesha socha hai waisa nahi hoga. College life is just a small yet a very big phase of your life which will show you a lot of things jo shayad aapko achhi na lage yaa aap adjust na kar pao! Ups and downs are just a part of it, which will teach you a lot in the journey.

People will change, you will become your own enemy, you will become your only competition, toxicity, move on, groupism, depression, anxiety, breakups, putting an end to your friendships, struggle, memories, parties, events and whatnot! Everything will happen and you will not be ready, and ready rehne ki zaroorat bhi nahi hai because that is the only way you will learn. College tumhe bohot kuch dikha dega. It will simply be your best decision and the worst. Sab hume college jaate waqt yeh bolte hai ki achhe se padhai karna, do your best, make it in top whatever. But koi yeh nahi kehta ki college hai jitna ho sake utne maze karlo kyuki yeh time waapis nahi aayega. “Do the fun, learn, and then earn.” Koi yeh nahi bolta. Mein toh yahi bolunga ki college life mein jitna ho sake utna fun karo kyuki yeh time sahi mein waapis nahi aayega!! Maze karo, daat khao, sikho.

But with fun, the other ‘F’ has to go side by side which is your “Future”. Learn new skills, develop confidence, try out jo tum karna chahte ho, don’t be afraid! Bohot opportunities milegi, grab the most of it! Try out new things, try out doing something which you are afraid of doing!

Friendships ki toh kya hi baat karu. You will make a lot of friends in college, you will lose a lot of friends in college, friends will betray you, friends will be with you at your worst, friends tumhe exam ke time pe padha denge, friends tumhe exam ke time pe dooba bhi denge. Friendship is fragile. Apna decision khud set karna and decide what is best for you!

Ek saal se bhi zyada ho gaya mujhe college aaye, and it was simply my best and worst decision. Naye experiences, naye log, aur bohot kuch! Jitna sikha, jitna samjha, bata diya.
