So recently, I moved to Pune for my further studies leaving behind my family, friends, and all the fun I had in my hometown. Initially, I thought it would be easy for me to adapt and live new experiences, which would be way more fun. And as the matter of fact, it is. These things excite me with new experiences, new beginnings, and new life. As I was leaving my hometown, I had a very genuine question in my head, “whether leaving my family and friends would make them closer to me or will it be the other way?” It’s been almost a month since I moved out and I kinda got an answer. But still, that answer is not complete. Me, moving away from my parents, friends and all the ones who matter, definitely made me close to them in every way possible. But this answer is obviously a SHORT-TERM ANSWER! Let’s hope to get a positive answer in the LONG-TERM! My efforts would always remain the same and would be constant. It would be the efforts of others, which would conclude the answer.
Let’s talk about my experience now.
Moving to another city is a great idea initially for all new experiences and all that stuff. But as time flies, you tend to get emotional and all the memories and moments shared by your loved ones start playing with your mind. Obviously, you make new friends, and you get new and awesome experiences but somewhere there is a guilt of losing everything behind. But that’s how life works. You can’t do anything about it unless you have decided something. I generally do not show my emotions but I will surely say, it was difficult for me. I cried once, but even I didn’t know that I was gonna cry!! It’s only been a month and I have already seen so many things and experienced so many experiences. Hoping that the future is full of more such things and excitement! I always want my life to be full of adventures and goals which are difficult to complete so that I always stay productive and keep learning new skills as I’m completing those adventures.
The other day I was going through a video in which the person said, “Suppose you are a student. Now if you invest around 1 lakh for a year with an interest rate of 12%, at the year-end you would be with 112000. Now, surely if you are investing that amount for the long term, it would completely make sense and you will benefit from investing. But if you are investing that money in the short term, would you think it would make sense? Instead, you should invest that money to buy experiences. Go out with friends which would be memorable, take online courses which would ultimately develop your skills and make you rich, develop hobbies, go on trips and what not. Earning 12k every year would not make sense if you are investing in the short-term and you are not increasing the money to invest every year. Instead, put that money to upgrade yourself and it would surely get you a better package if you wanna do that obviously.”
THEREFORE EXPERIENCES MATTER.
My journey till now has been like a roller coaster and I know for a fact that it would always be. But I will say that I am enjoying it and having fun. Lastly, I wanna say that I LOVE YOU, MOM AND DAD, ❤️🔥 ! And don’t worry I’m safe here and I’m missing you! And I am grateful for everything I have!
