Why do we wanna live a life which is full of regrets? Why can’t we do what we always wanted to do? Why do certain decisions become a nasty outcome?
All these questions somewhere have a sense of regret. This is to an extent a great factor to help us stay motivated and live life our way. But still, the main question is why is there a sense of regret in these questions and what can we do to make it disappear because, in the end, no one wants to live a life which has a sense of regret.
What is regret?
It says that regret is something that one has done and is disappointed over or failed to do it.
This means that regret is nothing but guilt for not being able to do something or missing out on opportunities you wanted to be part of. But does it mean that you will not get any chances after that or does it mean that the missed opportunity was the last one? One needs to learn to be patient, practice self-control and wait for life to give them another opportunity.
Trust me, various opportunities are waiting for everyone in this world but what stops us from accomplishing our goals and winning in life is the mere sense of regret given to us by our previously missed opportunities. Be patient, keep calm, practice self-control and do not let that sense of guilt/regret take over your upcoming prospects.
It’s alright if you start late or if you are not successful until now. Never let that trust within fall. Make sure to work hard and keep working hard to upgrade yourself in this dynamic environment as the opportunities are way much more than you think. But you have to work on yourself and let time be your greatest asset in both ways- being patient and upgrading as per the world. Also, the best advice I have heard to date is “BE ORIGINAL!” Being original gives you wings not to fly but to be creative with your work and whatever you do. It makes you different from others obviously but it creates a unique identity for yourself.
I started this newsletter inspired by Ali Abdaal, a great content creator. I started this because I wanted to have my email newsletter, I enjoy writing and wanted to build an audience which would genuinely read my publications. I wish I had watched that video of his earlier and started this newsletter earlier as an outcome. But today I have no regrets regarding that because today I am happy that I at least started. I know for a fact that having regrets would affect my work and I would miss many more upcoming prospects which would be big for me. So why regretting? Instead, polish your work now and keep going. Keep the hustle on!!
I know it is very easy for me to speak or rather write here and say all this. But unless one practices these things, it will always be hard for him/her to let go of unnecessary and unpleasant things.
Don’t regret the past, instead learn from it.
